Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Igniz collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you access or interact with the Igniz decentralized exchange platform, including its website, interface, API, and any associated tools or features (collectively, the "Platform" or "Services"). For purposes of this Policy, "you" and "your" refers to you as a user of the Services.
Please read this Policy carefully before using the Platform. By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described herein, you should discontinue use of the Platform and refrain from providing any information to us.
Information We Collect
1.1 — Information You Provide Directly
Depending on how you interact with the Platform, we may collect certain information that you voluntarily provide or that is inherently associated with your access to the Services, including:
- —Wallet Addresses & On-Chain Identifiers: Any blockchain wallet address, smart contract address, or protocol-level identifier used to connect to or interact with the Platform;
- —Transaction Data: Records of trades, orders, positions, deposits, withdrawals, and other on-chain or interface-level activity associated with your connected wallet;
- —Communication Data: If you contact us via email, a support channel, or any other medium, we may collect the content of those communications and any personal information you include therein;
- —Social Media Handles: If you voluntarily link or associate a social media account or handle with the Platform or its community features.
1.2 — Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Platform or interact with our interface, certain technical data is automatically captured by our systems, including:
- —Network Identifiers: Internet Protocol (IP) address of the device used to access the Platform;
- —Access Logs: Date, time, duration, and frequency of your access to the Platform;
- —Device & Browser Data: Operating system type and version, browser type and version, device type, language settings, and screen resolution;
- —Geographic Indicators: General geographic region inferred from your IP address or network configuration (e.g., country or region level);
- —API Interactions: Endpoints accessed, request metadata, and associated activity logs when you access the Platform via API;
- —Referral & Navigation Data: The URL from which you arrived at the Platform and the pages or sections you navigated during your session.
This data is collected to facilitate your access to and use of the Services, to identify potential access by Prohibited Persons, to maintain the security and operational stability of the Platform, and to improve the quality and performance of our Services.
1.3 — Usage & Analytics Data
We may use analytics technologies—including cookies, pixel tags, and similar tracking mechanisms—to collect aggregated information about how users interact with the Platform. This may include behavioral data such as feature usage patterns, session duration, and navigation paths.
Where required by applicable law or where we rely on your consent, we will seek such consent before deploying analytics or tracking technologies beyond those strictly necessary for platform operation. You may adjust your browser settings to manage cookies; however, doing so may limit certain functionality of the Platform.
1.4 — Information from Third-Party Wallets & Protocols
Connecting a third-party wallet to the Platform may result in the transmission of certain wallet-level metadata to our interface. We do not receive or store your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet credentials. Any data flows between your wallet application and the Platform are governed by the privacy practices of your wallet provider.
Similarly, interactions with third-party protocols, bridges, or integrations accessible through the Platform are subject to the respective privacy policies of those third parties.
How We Use Your Information
We process the information described in Section 1 for the following purposes:
2.1 — Service Delivery
To operate, provide, maintain, and improve the Platform, including processing transactions, rendering the interface, authenticating wallet connections, and delivering API responses.
2.2 — Compliance & Risk Management
To verify that you are not a Prohibited Person, to detect and prevent fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized activity, and to satisfy applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance obligations including those related to sanctions screening and anti-money laundering requirements.
2.3 — Security & Integrity
To monitor for, investigate, and respond to potential security threats, cyberattacks, unauthorized access attempts, or other activity that may compromise the integrity or availability of the Platform.
2.4 — Analytics & Optimization
To conduct internal data analysis, performance testing, and research to enhance the user experience, optimize platform features, and inform product development decisions. Where possible, this analysis is performed on aggregated or de-identified data.
2.5 — Communications
To respond to your inquiries, support requests, or other communications, and to deliver operational notices regarding material changes to the Platform or these Terms.
2.6 — Legal Compliance & Enforcement
To comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to valid legal process or governmental requests, to enforce our Terms of Service, and to protect the rights, safety, and interests of Igniz, its users, and the public.
On-Chain Data
You acknowledge that transactions executed on public blockchains are inherently transparent and publicly accessible. Any transaction you initiate through the Platform that is recorded on a public blockchain is permanently visible to anyone with access to that network.
Igniz has no ability to delete, modify, or obscure on-chain transaction data. This transparency is a fundamental property of decentralized blockchain infrastructure and is outside our control.
Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal data, which may include:
The right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and how it is used;
The right to request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information, subject to verification;
The right to request deletion of personal information we hold about you, to the extent not required by applicable law or legitimate operational necessity;
The right to request that we limit the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances;
The right to object to our processing of your personal information where we rely on legitimate interests as the legal basis for that processing;
The right, in certain circumstances, to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 10. We will respond to your request in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable law. Please note that certain information may be exempt from these rights where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, or audit obligations. The specific retention period for any category of data depends on its nature, the purpose for which it was processed, and applicable legal requirements.
Where personal data is no longer required, we will take commercially reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or de-identify it in a secure manner.
Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under this age.
If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a user under eighteen (18), we will take prompt steps to delete such information from our systems. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us using the details in Section 10.
Security
We implement and maintain reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures include, where appropriate, encryption in transit, access controls, and security monitoring.
However, no transmission over the internet or electronic storage system is entirely secure. You acknowledge that any data you transmit to or through the Platform is at your own risk. We cannot guarantee absolute security and you should take appropriate measures to protect your own data and wallet credentials.
External Links & Third-Party Platforms
The Platform may contain links to external websites, social media platforms, ecosystem tools, or other third-party services that are not operated or controlled by Igniz. The inclusion of any such link does not constitute an endorsement of the linked site or its content. Igniz is not responsible for the privacy practices, security standards, or content of any third-party platform.
When you access external links from the Platform, including social media platforms, the operators of those platforms may receive technical data such as your IP address or device identifiers. You are encouraged to review the privacy policies of any third-party service before engaging with it.
